My housemates got me a fish eye lomography camera for my birthday, thanks guys! I’m going to get some film tomorrow and start shooting, can’t wait!

Erol

Liz, Bryan, Tom Fone, Phil, Katie and some others hit digital last night to see Erol Alkan, he killed it. He played ‘pussy’ by Nadastrom and made me the happiest person in the club.

Week Away

So, I had over a week between finishing my exams and starting Uni again. So I booked loads of single tickets and set off round to visit some friends who don’t live in Newcastle.I just had a rucksack and my bike, and at 8:30am last Friday, I set off from Newcastle!

Big Train Trip

I’m currently covorting round the UK on trains, seeing all my friends that don’t live in Newcastle. I’ve already been to Hastings to hang out with H Man, I got to ride the 70s ramp, and ride with Baz, Lacey and Nikki, and they KILL it. Watching Nikki and Baz ride that thing is so wild. I’m in Canterbury right now until tomorrow, then it’s on to Huddersfield! The above photo is the only one I have as I have no cables for my cameras. I don’t know what me and Liz are doing either.

Rick James

Liz got me this amazing book for Christmas and it’s MINT. Rick James is the man.

Cycle Race

Exams over? Time to celebrate? Couldn’t agree more, we broke out the road bikes and had a classic drag race down the street. Yorkshire Vs Scouse. Yorkshire took the crown. Obviously.

Minimix

I’m not sure how long mixes have to be, or how short to be mini, but this one clocks in at a whisker under 30 minutes. I couldn’t sleep so I boshed it together, just some stuff I’ve been meaning to put together for a while, and apart from the first track, is stuff you’d have heard me play at Creep. Hit the link to download it, it works in iTunes, and if you look at the lyrics it tells you the tracklistings. French Revolution

I’ve been at home all weekend for my parents respective birthdays. It’s actually been really good, I got loads of stuff done, rode quite a lot and got some stuff for wejetset done, so Taj will be stoked. I did however avoid my essay, which needs to be in on Thursday. In fact I still am, erm….  Loads more photos after the jump.

The Works

My long time friend and Leeds BMXer Tosh now works at the works, and managed to hook up free entry for James and I on Saturday, thanks dude! It was the most fun session I’ve had in a while, even though I rode hella badly and was rusty as hell. Forgot how much I actually like the park, and I apparently James and I were actually banned from the park. James for arguing with Kendo, some dude who worked there a while ago and me for bad mouthing it over said incident on this here blog. Tosh removed us from the list and thr session was on!
