French Revolution

I’ve been at home all weekend for my parents respective birthdays. It’s actually been really good, I got loads of stuff done, rode quite a lot and got some stuff for wejetset done, so Taj will be stoked. I did however avoid my essay, which needs to be in on Thursday. In fact I still am, erm….  Loads more photos after the jump.

Messing around with Scott’s new flash and filters.

Went into Leeds with Scott and got sandwiches from French Revolution, and chilled in the Victoria Quarter.

I bought some half cabs too, I’ve got white laces on them now though and they look way better.

I love the low winter sun

I ended up buying myself the same flash as Scott, at half price it was rude not to. I’ve been having fun playing with it, it’s impoved my shots no end. My cat Max was stoked.

I used James as a guinea pig.

Instead of doing my assignment I borrowed James’ MacBook and did a minimix on Ableton. I actually did it in two sittings, the first time I got really pissed off and left it for a bit. The second time it all went good, until I listened to it on the train on the way home and the volume on two of the tracks is wrong, so I’m going to have to do it all again as I deleted the source file. DUH.

I love the new flash. James can’t be moved from his Xbox.

Went to my mate Fakie Dave’s cafe, blake head. It’s a veggie cafe so Dave hooked me up with a Panini sans meat (urgh) but it was probably good for me. Best cafe in York, despite not serving meat, the book store end is pretty dope too, watch out for it on WJS soon. Dave’s also has a solo acoustic act that I’ve still never caught, is the defining knowledge on indie bands and the Sub Pop record label and is the best street rider in York. Fact.

Got home and used Dan as a guinea pig for my new flash. Dan and I are making no progress with this assignment. I’ve drunk loads of energy drink and just feel ill.

Mexican John’s blog is too good, aside from the hilarious scally bus dialogue, he speaks the truth. Keep it up man!
