Eelus’s new stuff is going to be on show at Electric Sheep before ‘Creep’. There’s a free bar from Red Bull, and last time they had Peroni for free too, get down and check it out if you’re in the area, then head over to ‘Creep’ for nine to carry on the party.

This Weekend

It’s been a blinder this wekend, for sure. The YBS boys from York were up to ride and watch the new York video, Scott was up for the same reason and to see his girl, and Liz and H Man were up. Been a whirlwind, with more drinking than riding but hey! That’s just the way it goes. Read on for loads ‘a photos….

Kent ruined my life

My girlfriend, Liz, recently had to move to Canterbury to do a years work placement at Pfizer for her Neuroscience (yawn) degree. Being the romantic type I am, I hopped on the megabus (never again) and headed south to surprise her. I’ve just got a new camera, a sweet Nikon D70 off H Man so I was dying to try it out, so I shot loads of snaps, which you can see, with more words, by hitting the link.

Unibros

I went to the Unibro’s tour on friday, and it was mint! A-Trak and Boys Noize killed it, and there was a few of us there. I ended up getting for free as Philippa was on the guestlist with a plus one through Topshop. I blatantly wasn’t called Philippa so I had to find a girl in the queue to be Philippa, except there wasn’t one, so me and Cookie walked up to the bouncer and I exclaimed I was ‘Phillip A Goymer’ (Phil’s name is Philippa Goymer) and it worked! That was 12 pounds more beer money then. I later drunkenly blagged my way to the side of the DJ booth, and started ‘chatting’ to A-Trak, here’s how it went:

Me: “Dude that was awesome”
A-Trak: “Thanks”
M: “You didn’t play that remix I like”
A: “Er, no. Er, I’ve gotta go now”

I suck, I must have sounded like a right prick. After that little episode I decided that getting into the DJ booth while Boys Noize was on was a great idea, so in I went. Stood there like a lemon for a bit, took some photos, danced a bit, then got booted out. Awesome. There’s some photos from the DJ booth after the jump.

Creep!

After months of telling everyone about it, ‘Creep’ has finally come to fruition. It’s going to be at DB Social on the 2nd October, I know the venue’s small, but you’ve gotta start somewhere right? The whole idea came from no clubs in Newcastle playing what I wanted to hear when I go out, so I teamed up with my friend Philippa to put this together. The opening night is going to feature guest DJ Damn Son, with more guests each month.

If you’re friends with Philippa or me on facebook you’ll get an invitation soon enough, and remember to invite all your friends too. It’s going to be a hell of a night so make sure you’re there.
