I’ve been chilling at home in Leeds all week as I was down for Leeds Festival so I hopped across to York yesterday to ride with Scott, Angus and Matt. I managed to borrow Angus’ Nikon D70 to shoot some pictures so read on for some higher quality snaps!

Leeds Festival

I live really close to the Leeds Festival site, so ever since I’ve been allowed, I’ve been going. It’s never disappointed, it’s always amazing, and I always see my friends who I grew up with there. In short, Leeds fest rules. This year was no exception, I mean, Metallica, Rage Against The Machine and Justice were playing, it couldn’t suck! Read on for loads of pictures, and more words about the weekend.
Hyde Park

I’ve decided to stay at home in Leeds for a week after Leeds festival (photos soon) to chill out a bit and ride some of the old haunts, and see people I don’t get to see often. I went with matt, Robbie, Scott and tosh to ride hyde park today, one of my favourite parks to ride. We had a good session and I think that Matt is going to do a web edit. Can I also say that there are some very good riders in Leeds, my jaw dropped on more than one occasion today.

Consequence Aside – the photo’s!
August 17, 2008 · 7 Comments
I still can’t believe it went so well. Everything was last minute, and it really shouldn’t have worked, but somehow we pulled it off, and by god it was good. All our friends showed up, including some new faces, people came from as far as Bristol, and everyone got loose and had a good time. I want to thank Jim Newrick, for asking me to help out and be part of it, Doug and Alex for the faith and the use of the space, everyone who took time to contribute, and everyone who came, thanks guys! I took loads of pictures, which you can see by hitting the link.

Glasgow on a whim

Happy hour in Spy bar and the prospect of a day off work filled with rain and no riding produced the idea to drive for three and a half hours to Unit 23. A quick text to Pete and we had a driver, so the next morning at 9am we headed north. I wanted to go to do stuff I didn’t do last time, and to ride the new replica of the now deceased Little Devil bowl. Read on for the photos and more words!

The Crookers are coming!
August 15, 2008 · Leave a Comment
I found out today from a reliable source that non other than Italian fidget-house duo Crookers will be spinning at Digital in Newcastle sometime in September. This is big new as they rarely, if ever, play the UK, and with them currently being the hottest thing in electro and fidget-house, you know this is going to be big. You heard it here first!
Also don’t forget it ‘Consequence Aside’ is going down tomorrow at Control in Carliol Square in Newcastle, come down and show your support! There’s a flyer elsewhere on this blog.
Water pistols and paint stripper

Plenty of Malarky last night for Hexam Stu’s birthday. Enough wild dancing went down, and the 80p beers were put away with gusto, and Scott sleazed. Chris and Newrick came round after to cause trouble, and we had a waterfight with one supersoaker, went on a neighbourhood watch patrol, and I got a near miss with some gone off strawberry milk which resulted in a announcment of revenge against the two men pictured above, watch out boy’s, I know where you live! Scott also arrived and we spent today doing absolutly nothing as it was raining. We hammered pro-evo and I rawed my bike and added my lovely new Odyssey iPC pedals in grape. More pictures after the link.

A Trak & Boys Noize
August 11, 2008 · Leave a Comment
Uh huh, guess who’s coming to Newcastle? Yeah thats right, Canada’s finest turntabler, brother of the moustachio’d one from Chromeo, and Kanye’s DJ and Fools Gold head honcho, A-Trak! And if that wasn’t good enough, he’s bringing German electro bad boy, Boys Noize too. It;s going to be hell of a night. It’s pretty good that the only UK date is Newcastle because I’m fed up of acts coming to the UK and only playing London. I’m having to go all the way down there to see Crookers in September, although it’ll be worth it. Also when lurking on A-Trak’s flickr page I found this picture of him, Xavier from Justice and some dude rocking the Animal getup, nice!
